Shipping & In-store Pick-up

Pitter Patter Boutique is a brick and mortar store in Smithers, BC with a recently open outlet for FREE local pick-up in Courtenay, BC. Orders requiring shipping generally take 1-4 days to fill an order and then it is shipped via Canada Post or UPS from either location.  

Orders over $189 (pre-tax) in Canada & the US are eligible for free shipping (Free shipping may not be available during promotions and a flat rate shipping fee applies at that time).  For order under $189, a flat rate of $11.99 applies in Western Canada and $13.99 applies to Eastern Canada and the US.

Shipping times are typically 8-10 days, however, delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our control. Customs charges and taxes on US shipments are payable by customer at time of delivery.

For small, single, flat items, letter mail shipping through Canada Post (within Canada) is available.  Shipping letter mail does come with a small risk though as it does not get a tracking number.  Therefore, if you choose letter mail as an option, you will receive notification through Shopify once we have fulfilled the order, but no tracking number is included.  Pitter Patter Boutique is not responsible for lost, stolen, or delayed letter mail items.  Contact us if you have questions with what can be shipped letter mail.  Generally, a single item like a footie, pj set, shirt, leggings, etc that can be packed flat can be shipped letter mail (even 2 bodysuits, 2 baby pants, 2 hats, 2 undies, etc. can usually fit).  Blankets, sheets, shoes and bulky or larger items that can not be flat cannot be shipped letter mail.

If you are local to the Bulkley Valley (or passing through town) and are able to pick-up in-store, we ask you to select "Local Pick-up" at time of checkout.  Purchases can be picked up in our local Smithers store (3825 2nd Avenue) between the hours of 10am-5pm Monday-Saturday (excluding holidays). We will do our best to have your items available for pick-up within 1 business day.  Local pick-up is also available at 2000 Embleton Crescent in Courtenay, BC.  Most Kyte Baby and Pre-loved items are stored in Courtenay so they are available for immediate FREE pick-up.  If other items are coming from our Smithers location, you can still pick-up for FREE in Courtenay, but it will take 3-4 days to ship the items from Smithers to Courtenay.  Eventually we will have an equal selection of all new products in both locations.
